STEP            Step - hop throughout  left-hop  right-hop, left-hop. right-hop etc
                        (this has been simplified - there are fancy steps for turning in the original).

ONCE TO YOURSELF
A1      All face up with sticks crossed  

          FOOT UP AND DOWN
A2      All dance forward (up) 4 steps
           All reverse back 4 steps turning to face down on
           step 4
A3      Repeat, turning to face in on last step  
once to yourself
B1      STICK TAPPING           
           All face partner holding stick pointing diagonally to the floor and tap sticks as follows:

 Then HALF WHOLE CAST - all face up; top couple separate and dance down outside of own line to bottom, other dancers following to turn set upside down (or half morris hey)

All face down. Same cpl cast away to top.
All follow to original places
B2   In these positions,, REPEAT stick tapping as in  B1
Then HALF WHOLE CAST - same couple (now at bottom) separate and dance back up outside of own line, other dancers following. All finishing in original places (or half morris hey)

All face down. Same couple cast awayt to top
All follow to original places
A4    HALF GYP
All face across, dance 4 steps forwards to finish next to partner right shoulders in a line of six; all reverse back 4 steps to place 

A5    All face across, dance 4 steps forwards to finish next to partner left shoulders in a line of six; all reverse back 4 steps to place

B3 & B4  
STICK TAPPING as in  B1 & B2 
A6     WHOLE GYP           
          All change stick to left hand and dance a
          complete right hand turn with partner to finish in
          own place (8 steps)

A7     All change stick to right hand and dance a
          complete left hand turn with partner to finish in
          original place (8 steps)  
MORRIS WHOLE GYP 1

A8      HALF ROUNDS
           All turn left and dance single file clockwise
           round set to half way places (8 steps)

A9     All about turn and dance single file
          anticlockwise round set to original places
         (8 steps)

All dance anticlockwise round set to original places
(It sometimes helps if dancers hold neighbours stick in left hand to make a circle of sticks) morris half rounds 1
B7 & B8   STICK TAPPING as in B1 & B2
All finish facing up with sticks held high and crossed with partner (as at beginning of dance)
